Raised in Tasmania, Rolf was drawn to spending as much time as possible outdoors. This combined with a mechanical aptitude for repairing anything mechanical, a passion for all types of optics, photography, and the dark room, naturally led to an interest in large format photography with its infinite adjustment possibilities and multiple formats.
